We are currently looking for a Welder to support our mine operations at our Manitoba Operations.
Vale requires industrial welders to make and fix metal equipment and items crucial to our business operations. Since the range of industrial items fabricated of metal is far-reaching, Vale's industrial welders must be versatile as well as highly skilled. As an industrial welder for Vale, you can expect to do the following jobs:
- shear and saw metal using hand or power tools
- drill, grind, chip and brush metal using common hand tools
- weld ferrous and non-ferrous metals
- braze and solder
- perform inert gas welding, flame cutting, flame heating and heat treating
- form, bend and straighten metals by forging
- The ideal candidate will have an Inter-Provincial Red Seal (Certificate of Qualification) as a Welder
