Job Title: On-Call Snow Removal & Maintenance

Meeting Location: Burlington, ON - Fairview & Walkers Line

Work Hours: On-call, hours dependent on inclement weather conditions

Rate of Pay: $19.00/hour

We are hiring on-call labourers for a Snow Removal & Maintenance company in Burlington. Successful applicants will help with snow removal, including shoveling, salting, and other labour tasks. Candidates must have their own vehicle to travel to our client's main office in Burlington or to customer sites in Burlington, Hamilton, and Oakville. Candidates must also be comfortable working outdoors, lifting 50-75lbs, and standing for long periods of time.

Job Duties:

• Meet at company office or customer site
• Shoveling and salting customer walkways, driveways, etc. in Burlington, Oakville & Hamilton
• Use of snowblowers and other snow removal equipment
• Lifting 50-75lbs
• Walking, standing for long periods of time
• Working in a team & following supervisor's instructions
• May lead to long-term role in the spring
• Other general labour tasks as assigned

Candidate Requirements:

• Previous general labour experience as an asset
• Driver's license & own vehicle to get to work or site location
• Able to safely lift 50-75lbs
• Must have proper winter attire (coat, gloves, hat, boots, etc.)
• Demonstrates reliability and team-oriented attitude
• Able to follow instructions well - must be fluent in English
