Pay: $30.00 Hourly

Shifts: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM

Location: Gloucester, On

This role focuses on supporting manufacturing operations by creating and maintaining 2D/3D technical drawings, improving work instructions, and helping organize technical data. The position involves analyzing production processes, implementing continuous improvement initiatives such as Lean manufacturing, and working closely with production teams to improve efficiency, quality, and workflow.

Responsibilities:

• C reate and maintain 2D and 3D technical drawings using Onshape.
• Standardize and improve production worksheets to support efficient manufacturing processes.
• Develop and enhance work instructions using VKS (Visual Knowledge Share).
• Assist with organizing and structuring technical data using tools such as Retool.
• Analyze manufacturing processes and identify opportunities for optimization.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, including Lean manufacturing, waste reduction, workflow optimization, and standardization.
• Work closely with production teams to improve efficiency, productivity, and product quality.

Qualifications:

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Technology, Industrial Drafting, or a related field.
• Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with CAD software, such as Onshape or a comparable platform.
• Interest or experience in Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Comfortable working both on the production floor and in an office setting.
• Highly organized, self-motivated, and detail oriented.
