Forklift Operator

Job Title: Forklift Operator (Counterbalance)
Rate of Pay: $20.00/hour
Available Shift: 5:00am - 1:30pm Monday - Friday
Location: Burlington, ON (Appleby Line and Mainway)
Start Date: ASAP

We are looking for experienced Counterbalance forklift operators to join our client's warehouse facility in Burlington. Our client is looking for experienced forklift operators with great communication skills who can start immediately!

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate propane Counterbalance forklift throughout the facility
• Load, unload, and move product around the warehouse
• Use an RF scanner to receive product and enter into warehouse management system
• Communicate with drivers and peers about shipments
• Repetitively lift product that weighs up to 50lbs
• Working at a fast pace, picking and packing orders to meet daily shipment quotas
• Other general warehouse duties as required

Experience:

• Valid in-house or third-party Counterbalance forklift license required
• 1-2 years' experience in counterbalance forklift or material handler role required
• Experience working in a fast-paced warehouse and loading dock
• Experience using an RF scanner to receive product is preferred (not required)
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills
• Willing to provide a Criminal Record Search
