Job Title: Maintenance Worker

Type: Temporary to Permanent
Location: Kingston, ON
Shift/Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:30am-4:30pm
Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour

We are currently hiring a Maintenance Worker to support the upkeep and cleanliness of a warehouse facility in Kingston, Ontario. The successful candidate will perform a variety of general maintenance, cleaning, and facility support tasks, working closely with the Building Superintendent to ensure the facility remains well-maintained.

This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who takes pride in maintaining an organized, clean, and safe work environment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform thorough cleaning of the warehouse, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and removing debris
• Maintain clean and organized workspaces throughout the facility
• Complete interior and exterior painting as required
• Perform minor maintenance tasks, including patching walls and basic repairs
• Assist with general facility upkeep and tidying
• Support waste and recycling removal as needed
• Help organize storage areas and materials
• Ensure work areas remain safe, clean, and hazard-free
• Follow instructions and assist the Building Superintendent with additional tasks as required

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in building maintenance, general labour, janitorial, or facility upkeep is an asset
• Comfortable performing physical work throughout the day
• Ability to work independently and complete tasks efficiently
• Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
• Strong commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work environment

Work Conditions:

• Work will take place in a warehouse facility environment
• Regular standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the day
• Combination of indoor and occasional outdoor tasks
