Job Title: Forklift Operator

Job Type: Temporary ongoing with the opportunity to go permanent

Location: Kingston, ON (401 & Middle Rd)
Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm
Pay Rate: $ 21-23.00 (depending on experience)

The role involves operating a counterbalance and/or reach forklift, moving materials, and supporting daily warehouse operations in a fast-paced environment.

This is a great opportunity for experienced forklift operators looking for steady weekday work, weekly pay and the potential to transition into a permanent position.

Responsibilities:

• Operate a counterbalance forklift safely and efficiently
• Load and unload a variety of materials
• Label products, verify shipping information, and confirm destinations
• Build skids and wrap products for secure transport
• Work closely with supervisors and co-workers to complete daily tasks
• Perform additional warehouse duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Valid forklift counterbalance and/or reach certification
• Previous forklift operating experience
• Background in a warehouse or distribution environment
• Strong communication skills
• High attention to detail
• Ability to work at a fast pace
• Reliable, hardworking, and committed to safety

Work Conditions:

• Busy production environment
• Regular standing and lifting throughout the day
