About Us
Book Bar is a bookstore and bar rooted in curated connection-a space where great stories and great drinks live side by side. We're not just a shop or a bar-we're a welcoming, layered "third place" that invites people to linger, discover, and converse.
By day, we offer a cozy haven for readers and the book-curious. By night, we transform into a lively, character-filled space for connection and community. Whether a guest is here to browse our shelves or sip a glass of wine, we aim to make them feel at home.
Position Overview
As a Bartender at Book Bar, you'll help shape a distinct, thoughtful guest experience. You'll prepare cocktails, pour local wines and beers, brew espresso, and set the tone for meaningful social connections. You'll balance speed and precision with character and ease-crafting a sense of place for everyone who walks in the door.
You'll also play a role in the literary culture of the space: engaging guests in bookish conversation, supporting in-store events, and embodying the spirit of a place where books are meant to be shared. This is a role for someone who leads with curiosity, warmth, and a love of stories-on the page and off.
We have multiple openings for Bartenders, with full and part-time opportunities available.
