SCHEDULE: Day, 8 and 12-hour shifts. Work schedule may be changed to meet operational needs.

JOB SUMMARY :The incumbent reports to the Medical Services Manager and works under the functional authority of the Zone Medical chief. They serve as the primary liaison between the zone's medical staff and medical leadership, as well as the various areas falling under this sector's responsibility. Key duties include coordinating the privilege renewal process, the on-call schedule, and continuing medical education activities. They oversee the logistics and follow-up for meetings of the Zone Medical Advisory Council (CMCL) and its related committees, as well as for specific medical departments. They collaborate with various partners to achieve the Medical Services objectives for their assigned zone.
REQUIREMENTS :

  • Recognized postsecondary training in secretarial studies or office administration;
  • Minimum five (5) years of experience in an administrative secretary position;
  • Experience as an executive secretary, an asset;
  • Experience in a health-related field, an asset;
  • Any other combination of education and experience deemed relevant and equivalent may be considered;
  • Extensive knowledge of the Microsoft 365 suite and other software applications used within the Network;
  • Excellent written communication skills, including minute-taking;
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to manage workload effectively and balance multiple priorities;
  • Strong sense of responsibility, excellent organizational skills, analytical thinking, and attention to detail;
  • Leadership, initiative, sound judgment, and problem-solving skills;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Physical ability to perform the assigned work;
  • Good work history (performance and attendance);
  • Adherence to professional ethical principles, the Network's management philosophy, and organizational values;
  • Compliance with the rules of confidentiality set by Vitalité Health Network.
