SCHEDULE: Day, 8 and 12-hour shifts. Work schedule may be changed to meet operational needs.

JOB SUMMARY :Reporting directly to the Network Manager for Integrated Health and Community Services in the Bathurst and Belle-Baie sector, the incumbent performs duties that may include providing management support, approving payroll and employee requests, and coordinating and managing requests for equipment and access. The incumbent provides support for performance evaluations, attendance management, the performance management process, and quality and safety improvement by developing policies and procedures and participating in accreditation exercises. The incumbent also works in very close collaboration with the manager of the Integrated Health and Community Services Network for the Bathurst and Belle-Baie sector to ensure the optimal functioning of the integrated primary health care network in the communities by supporting the management of operations at referral centers and local family health teams. The incumbent may be assigned additional responsibilities as operational needs dictate.
REQUIREMENTS :

  • Bachelor's degree in a field related to administration, health care, or another related field;
  • At least three (3) years of experience in the health care field;
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered;
  • Knowledge of and experience in primary health care is a plus;
  • Knowledge of Microsoft 365 and other software used within the Network;
  • Experience in implementing and evaluating policies, programs, or initiatives is a plus;
  • Experience in managing human resources and financial resources is a plus;
  • Ability to establish internal and external partnerships;
  • Interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Leadership, problem-solving, and planning skills;
  • Ability to implement change management strategies;
  • Willingness to travel within the zone's territory;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Physical ability to perform the assigned work;
  • Good work history (performance and attendance);
  • Adherence to professional ethical principles, the Network's management philosophy, and organizational values;
  • Compliance with the rules of confidentiality set by Vitalité Health Network.
