The incumbent is primarily responsible for coordinating activities within the interdisciplinary Occupational Health team. This role includes managing access, coordinating conference calls and telephone calls, coordinating schedules, and handling the administrative aspects of the attendance program. The incumbent provides extensive administrative support to various local and regional services. They perform high-level and complex secretarial and clerical work which requires carrying out tasks that are often difficult, technical, and confidential with minimal supervision. The incumbent also handles various other administrative tasks and demonstrates discretion and diplomacy.
EXIGENCES:
- Recognized postsecondary training in secretarial studies or office administration;
- Training in medical terminology or completion of such training within the specified timeframes;
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a medical administrative secretary position;
- Any other combination of education and experience deemed relevant and equivalent may be considered;
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and knowledge of other software used within the network;
- Knowledge of Zoom, Intrahealth, and Parklane, and willingness to enhance knowledge and skills to meet operational needs;
- Strong organizational skills, effective time management, and ability to establish priorities;
- Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills;
- Positive attitude, collaborative spirit, and adaptability;
- Attention to detail and demonstrated ability to adapt to change;
- Ability to travel occasionally as part of the job;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
- Physical ability to perform the assigned work;
- Good work history (performance and attendance);
- Adherence to professional ethical principles, the Network's management philosophy, and organizational values;
