About the Department/Region

Context: The Policy, Planning, Evaluation and Information Management department provides research and analysis of best practices in program delivery and evaluation; the corporation's Strategic Plan, and Annual Report; and operational plans and reports. The Department supports the CEO and the Minister Responsible for Housing through the development of position papers to support the Province's involvement in Federal/Provincial/Territorial discussions and meetings. The Department provides oversight of the corporation's information management policies and procedures.

Salary Scale: $71,915 to $96,186 per annum on the Management Pay Plan (point 541), 35-hour work week

Duties: Reporting to the Director, Director of Policy, Planning, and Information Management this position will holds primary responsibility for the planning and reporting requirements of the National Housing Strategy (NHS) Bilateral Agreement. The incumbent will work alongside other Departments within the Corporation to track targets to ensure NLHC meets their established action plan commitments as well as the overall target for 2028. This position will create historical reports to further develop a plan for the remainder of the bilateral agreement to detail how NLHC will meet overall targets. The incumbent will also be responsible for tracking NLHC commitments under the Rapid Housing Initiative (RHI) and the National Co-Investment Fund Repair Offer (NCHF) as well as any future commitments made under the NHS. This position requires the incumbent to have significant interaction with a variety of internal and external stakeholders, as well they will be required to protect and manage a wide range of highly confidential information, in an environment of competing priorities. Other related duties may be required.

Screening Criteria

Bachelor Degree in Business, Economics or the Social Sciences (Equivalencies may be considered)

Experience in policy development

Experience in research and evaluation

Experience writing executive level correspondence and/or reports
