JOB SUMMARY:

Under the supervision of the Director of Media Relations and Public Affairs, the Communications Advisor plays a key role in the implementation and development of Vitalité Health Network's patient education service offering. This position is responsible for the creation, validation, and dissemination of accessible educational content tailored to the needs of patients and their loved ones (information sheets, infographics, videos, interactive tools, web content, etc.).

In collaboration with clinical teams and relevant sectors, the advisor ensures that the information provided adheres to health literacy principles and is written in plain language. The incumbent contributes to structuring production processes and developing quality standards. They leverage technological tools to optimize the production of multimodal content, while ensuring a rigorous clinical validation process. This person also acts as an advisory resource for clinical sectors, supporting them in identifying educational needs and creating appropriate content.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • University degree in communications, education, journalism, public health, or a related field, and a minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience;
  • Candidates with an equivalent combination of education and experience may also be considered;
  • Strong writing skills in French and ease with written English;
  • Strong ability to simplify and explain complex content;
  • Excellent project management skills;
  • Comfort with generative artificial intelligence tools and graphic design software;
  • Openness, listening skills, and flexibility;
  • Initiative, autonomy, and proactivity;
  • Creativity, innovative mindset, and ability to propose solutions adapted to the constraints of a public health network;
  • Rigor, attention to detail, and commitment to quality;
  • Efficiency and ability to work quickly;
  • Intellectual curiosity and interest in continuous improvement and new technologies;
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member;
  • Physical ability to perform assigned duties;
  • Good previous work history (performance and attendance);
