Internship Placement for Fall 2025 Term

Location: 551 King Street, Fredericton or Remote

Number of placements: 1

Salary: $17.50/hour

Hours per week: Flexible (around 20 hours)

Placement Duration: September – December 2025

Department: Social Development (SD)

Placement Description: The selected student will be working with the Child and Youth team to develop materials supporting their ongoing initiatives. The successful candidate will work with the team to visualize and synthesize data from multiple sources. From there, they will produce visually compelling media materials regarding Child and Youth topics which will communicate key messaging to both internal and external stakeholders.

This role offers an opportunity for skills development and hands-on experience.

Need to have:

  • Language requirement: English or Bilingual
  • Enrolled in a post-secondary program in Graphic Design, Computer Science, Business Administration, Communications, or related field.

Nice to have: Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Microsoft Office Suite, and data visualization tools is an asset. The ideal candidate should be organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment with competing deadlines. Strong interpersonal and written communication skills, along with the ability to connect information and demonstrate how outputs lead to outcomes, are also valued.
