We are currently looking for a Mechanical Technologist to join our client's rapidly growing team in Saint John! Hours: Days, Monday - Friday
Salary: $90,000 - $110,000 annually
Start Date: March 10, 2023
Responsibilities:
• Preparing AutoCAD drawings, and the ideal candidate will be able to prepare either Civil 3D or Revit drawings
• Assisting in the preparation of technical reports, may include design, calculations, preparation of construction documentations, construction cost estimates.
• Coordinating client requirements with Department Director/Manager to ensure completion and deadlines are achieved.
• Conducting field reviews to gather information of existing mechanical infrastructure.
• Providing technical assistance and responding to inquiries related to construction projects.
• Establishing client and coordinating with all disciplines and office personnel to ensure that requirements are met.
• Respecting company values and policies.
• Assuming any other relevant duties at the request of the supervisor.
Requirements:
• Licensed Professional Engineer in New Brunswick (or eligibility for registration).
• 10+ years in the engineering industry, preferably with consulting engineering.
• Registered as a Certified Technologist with NBSCETT and eligible for other jurisdictions.
• Organizational skills, communication, leadership, teamwork, analytical capabilities.
• Ability to operate specific software.
• Ability to make decisions with a minimum amount of input.
• The ability to understand, oversee and direct the work of others.
• Reliable vehicle.
