Job Title: G-class Box Truck Delivery Driver

Location: Burlington, Ontario - Upper Middle Road & Appleby Line

Shifts: Days, 6:00am start time, Monday - Saturday (Saturday shifts are mandatory, 5-day work week) ~40h total per week

Rate of Pay: $21.00/hour to start

Job Type: Temporary to Permanent Hire

We are hiring a G Class - Delivery Driver for our client in Burlington. Our client distributes produce to customers across the GTA and Niagara regions. Qualified candidates will have a valid G Class Driver's License, a clean driver's abstract, be available to work on Saturdays, and have experience in a similar customer service-oriented delivery driving role. This position is a long-term to permanent hire position with a reputable company.

Responsibilities Include:

• Deliver produce to designated customer locations in a timely and efficient manner
• Load and unload produce crates by hand from a 20-foot box truck
• Accurately complete all necessary paperwork and maintain driver logs during deliveries
• Communicate any customer issues or delivery concerns to management
• Provide exceptional customer service during each delivery
• Operate the company's 20-foot box truck safely and ensure the vehicle is kept clean and well-maintained
• Perform other general duties as assigned by management

Candidate Qualifications:

• Valid G Class Driver's License and clean driver's abstract
• Willing to provide a Criminal Record Search and work Saturdays
• 2-3 years previous verifiable experience working in a similar delivery driving role
• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Punctual and reliable
• CSA certified safety shoes
• Able to lift up to 50lbs regularly
