We are a 144 bed Long Term Care facility seeking 2 Red Seal cooks, who want to become part of a multi-disciplinary health care team that will encourage the self development of our personnel through educational programs which will enhance the knowledge, activities and skills required to provide a high quality of life for residents of our Home.
These positions are permanent full time.
Responsibilities
Facilitates timely and accurate production of meal deliveries that meet general and individual requirements
Ensure all menu items are prepared and served according to departmental policies and procedures
Maintaining high sanitation and safe food handling practices
Assist in training new employees as assigned
Qualifications
Red Seal cook certificate
Food Handlers course
Experience in Healthcare food service preferred
