Job Title: L2 IT Support Technician | End User Support, O356, Networking | Consulting Services Job ID: RM771645726Location: Toronto, ONOverview:Are you a Level 2 IT Support Technician who lives and breathes O365? Have you worked in client facing positions and love doing top to bottom end user support? Do you have a solid understanding of networking for SMB's (firewalls, routers, etc.)? Do you consider yourself to be well spoken, outgoing, and are comfortable working in a client-facing capacity? If this sounds like you, this L2 IT Support Technician position could be a great fit! What you will be doing:
  • Support multiple clients throughout the GTA
  • On-site, phone, remote and email support
  • Workstation and server support including hardware and software installations and troubleshooting
  • Assist with the planning and implementation of installs, moves, adds and changes of laptops, desktops and communication devices as needed
  • General VPN, wireless, cabling, peripherals, hardware and software knowledge is required
  • Analyze/solve problems in communications systems, if necessary, contacting the appropriate vendor to resolve issues. • Leverage your expertise, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to solve customer issues
  • You will assist the L1 and L3 Support teams with managing the support case/ticketing queues, pro-actively managing each case with consistent and effective client communication until resolution and closure
What you must have:
  • This is a customer eccentric position, and our customers demand complete fluency in English. Excellent written and verbal communication skills is a must have.
  • Proven experience and/or an ability to interact with users for all levels of technical inquiries, top to bottom end user support
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience supporting servers, routers, firewalls, systems and desktop applications including Wireless, LAN/WAN & VPN
  • Working Knowledge of: Microsoft Windows Servers (Physical and Virtual), Hyper-V, Sophos routers and WiFi Aps, Office365 and Azure
  • Team mentality. Proven ability to work effectively both independently and take direction within team environment.
