As a core member of our Virtualization and Storage Team in the Infrastructure Support group, you will work with dedicated professionals to ensure our clients maintain access to their critical information assets.What you will be doing:

• You will be responsible for maintaining and managing virtualization and storage hardware
• Ensure the virtualization and storage hardware is kept up to date, from both hardware and software perspectives and, implement appropriate methodologies, standards and best practices
• Automate manual tasks to increase execution velocity and minimize the risk of human error
• Assist in the integration of new storage devices, projects and technologies
• Setup up and maintain storage services: CIFS, NFS, iSCSI, object-storage and etc.
• Contribute to Disaster Recovery and High Availability strategy and implement it
• Provide capacity reports and future growth trends to manager.
• Monitor Service Desk queues and comply with quality guidelines when managing incidents.
• Respond and comply with escalation policies and procedures
• Provide day-to-day operational support by promptly responding to telephone calls, voice-mails and emails
• Participate in weekend on-call schedule and be available to respond to telephone calls in emergency situations
• Resolve and document system errors and performance issues
• Perform root cause analysis of critical errors and outages

What you must have:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in traditional and software defined storage solutions for enterprise environments
• 3+ experience with storage technologies with Oracle ZFS preferred
• 1+ yrs. experience with VMware ESXi and vSAN a must
• 1+ yrs. experience with Automation technologies/tools (PowerCLI, Ansible, Python)
• 1+ yrs. experience with HPE Simplivity and Zerto an asset
