Working as a member of the Datacentre Network Engineering team, the Senior Load Balancing Engineer will be providing secure connectivity solutions to the enterprise allowing employees, partners, and customers to be more competitive, more productive, and more profitable in a global business environment.What you will be doing:

• The Senior Load Balancing Engineer provides subject matter expertise for the enterprise's main Content Delivery Network (CDN).
• Provides application availability, security, visibility, and acceleration services for client applications.
• Designs and tests load balancing solutions including LTM, GTM, SSL Certificate Management and Authoritative DNS Services.
• Certifies new software and hardware platforms in the Load Balancing space
• Leverages APIs to automate the Load Balancing infrastructure using vendor provided and/or open source tools
• Works closely with our partners to understand their requirements and provide technical solutions

What you must have:

• 5-7 years of solid traffic management (F5) experience
• Subject matter expertise of load balancer, DNS, SSL off loader
• Experience with computer programming, scripting languages, and web development (Ex.: Python, BASH, F5 iRules, AS3, Ansible)
• Functional knowledge of F5 advanced feature modules including Web Accelerator, Application Security Module, and Application Policy Module.
• Experience with F5 BIG-IP Global Traffic Manager (GTM)
• In depth knowledge of SSL cryptographic protocol in securing communications over the Internet and the ability to leverage F5 BIG-IP Application Delivery Controllers in performing SSL offload (client decryption) and server encryption solutions.
• Ability to conceptualize and provide DNS solutions in case of mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures.
• Excellent written and verbal communication. Ability to present at an executive level.

Nice to have:

• Familiar with CDNs and Akamai technology offerings (e.g. Fast DNS, Site Shield, etc.) is a big plus.
• Previous experience on infoblox IPAM
• Previous experience with DNS SEC / DNS Anycast
• 7-10+ years network engineering and/or technology management experience
• Solid skills in troubleshooting network issues, reverse engineering, and root cause analysis.
• Cisco networking certification is a plus (CCNA, CCNP or equivalent)
• Experience with NSX-T Advanced Load Balancer (AVI Networks)
• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science
