We seek a software engineer capable of crafting a software transmitter and receiver model to validate the DisplayPort Automotive Extensions (DP AE) specification. DP AE encompasses features augmenting the existing DisplayPort (DP) and embedded DisplayPort (eDP) standards, tailored for automotive display applications. DP AE aims to enhance functional safety and security for displays in connected, automated, shared, and electrified (CASE) vehicles.
Responsibilities:
- Devise an initial analysis and software development plan, reporting on the effort required for software C-Models development and testing.
- Develop, test, and document software modules for DP AE transmitter and receiver.
- Implement functional safety and security protocols as per the DP AE specification.
- Assist in verifying and validating the DP AE specification using the software model.
- Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to ensure software model quality and compatibility.
- Address and resolve issues pertaining to the software model.
RequirementsQualifications:
- Possess a Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, electrical engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in software development using C/C++, Python, or other relevant programming languages.
- Familiarity with DP and eDP standards and protocols.
- Understanding of DP AE specification and its features.
- Knowledge of automotive standards such as ISO 26262, SAE J3101, and UN Regulation No. 24 155.
- Experience in software modeling, simulation, and testing tools.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Capacity to work both independently and collaboratively.
Scope of Work:
The contractor will undertake the development, testing, and optimization of C++ code for software modeling applications. This encompasses algorithm creation, system behavior simulation, and contribution to software architecture design.
