THE ROLE
Our Client is looking for a Forklift Operator to work in a manufacturing plant located in Delta. This person will be operating a forklift (60% of the time), but may perform other duties such as unloading/loading products and operating a machine. This is a full-time morning shift (630am to 3:00 pm) working Monday to Friday.
JOB DUTIES:
- Operating the forklift (SDCB)
- Stacking pallets
- Unloading and loading products
- General duties as required by the Production Supervisor
- Operating a large industrial machinery
REQUIREMENTS:
- 2+ years of experience as a forklift operator on sit-down counterbalance(SDCB)
- ability to pass forklift test (stacking a piece of drywall with agility and in a safe manner)
- Ability to lift 25+ pounds
- Steel-toed work boots
- Valid Forklift Ticket
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience dealing with chemicals/fiberglass etc.

COMPENSATION:
- Starts at $21-23/ an hour: wage will increase based on performance
- two weeks vacation
