We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Market Development Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, expanding market reach, and driving revenue growth. The Market Development Specialist will play a crucial role in developing and implementing strategies to penetrate new markets, build relationships with potential clients, and drive brand awareness.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-depth market research to identify potential opportunities and threats in new markets. Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer behaviors.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive market entry strategies aligned with the company's overall goals. Work closely with leadership to define short-term and long-term market expansion plans.
  • Generate leads through various channels, including cold calling, email campaigns, and networking events.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with potential clients, understanding their needs and positioning our products/services accordingly.
  • Develop and execute strategies to penetrate new markets and expand the company's customer base.
  • Work closely with sales, marketing, and Business development teams to align strategies and ensure a cohesive approach to market development.
  • Monitor and analyze competitor activities to identify strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities.
  • Provide support to the sales team by delivering qualified leads, conducting product demonstrations, and participating in client presentations.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on market development activities, key metrics, and progress towards goals.
  • Identify and assess potential risks associated with market expansion. Develop risk mitigation plans and strategies to ensure successful market entry.

Qualifications:

  • A degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven experience in market development, lead generation, or sales.
  • Strong understanding of market trends and dynamics.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and execute tactical plans.
  • Results-driven with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and other relevant tools.
