Porter

Marino's Automotive Group is looking for a Porter at Jaguar Land Rover Metro West in Etobicoke!

The Porter is responsible for developing ongoing and long-term relationships with customers. Porters at Marino's Automotive group provide a high level of customer service by ensuring all Customer and inventory vehicles are in top condition. As a team player the Porter strives to develop collaborative relationships throughout the dealership.

Job Duties:

• Greet customers in a prompt, friendly and courteous manner.
• Conduct a walk-around of customer vehicles, identifying work to be done.
• Pickup and deliver customers to their destinations while their vehicle is in for service.
• Take vehicles through the car wash.
• Handle all customer inquiries and concerns with genuine intent.
• Ensure the service drive through area is clean and organized.
• Assist with tire inventory, moving tires to assigned storage area.
• Actively maintain the cleanliness of vehicles and lot.
• Monitor vehicles for damages and blemishes.
• Park and arrange vehicles in assigned spaces to maximize lot efficiency and space.
• Ensure all documentation is completed in an accurate and timely manner.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Successful Candidates Possess:

• The desire to provide a high level of customer service.
• Ability to lift, lower, hold and carry light to heavy loads.
• Possess a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Ability to work in a team and possesses strong interpersonal skills with an upbeat and engaging attitude.
• Self-motiving with excellent work ethic
• Loves a fast pace environment.
• A valid G class driver's license and a clean driving abstract.

Compensation:

• Compensation range: $18.00 CAD/ hour
• The range may vary based on experience and qualifications.

This compensation encompasses hourly pay and vacation pay as required under Ontario Regulation 476/24 made under the Employment Standards Act, 2000.
