Your success will be defined by your ability to:
- Manage full-cycle accounting, including journal entry preparation, review, and posting
- Monitor, analyze, and reconcile project costs and operating expenses
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and year-end account reconciliations, investigate variances, and resolve discrepancies
- Lead quarterly financial reporting, including financial statements, MD&A, notes, and supporting schedules for TSX-listed and SEC-compliant reporting
- Apply U.S. dollar functional currency accounting, including foreign exchange and currency translation requirements
- Ensure IFRS and US GAAP compliance through financial analysis, technical accounting research, and audit support
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- CPA designation is an asset
- Well versed in IFRS and U.S. GAAP reporting
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Collaborative, proactive, and self-motivated
