An ADAS Technician specializes in calibrating advanced driver-assistance systems on a variety of vehicles including passenger cars, electric vehicles, and mixed fleets. This hands-on role requires scanning vehicles, conducting diagnostic tests, and researching manufacturer-specific calibration requirements to ensure proper system functionality after repairs. The technician collaborates within a larger automotive service department and handles insurance billing for the performed services.
Responsibilities
- Scan vehicles for ADAS calibration needs post-repair
- Perform diagnostic testing and repair verification
- Research OEM-specific calibration procedures for varied vehicle makes
- Document and record calibration processes and results
- Manage billing and claims submission to insurance companies
- Work effectively within a larger automotive service team
Preferred Qualifications
- Entry-level experience in automotive diagnostics
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong attention to detail
