A Third Party Logistics provider located in Burlington is seeking a Logistics Coordinator. This is a collaborative team environment, all responsible for the overall customer and carrier experience.

Responsibilities

Negotiate freight rates with carriers for domestic and cross-border TL and LTL
Source carriers
Cultivate strong relationships with key customers
Ensure all emails are answered promptly.
After hours' rotation to assist with resolving issues
Grow and maintain existing and new carrier or customer relationships
Understand and utilize RMIS to its full potential
Perform work with a sense of urgency and attention to detail
Effective communication skills a must
Transition spot quote customers into dedicated customers
Follow up with customers for additional lanes

Experience and skills

2+ years of logistics coordination experience in logistics, cross-border and interstate logistics
Knowledge of Load link, RMIS, UFOS, PC miler, Trucker Tool
Preferred education in DCS/DEC
