Export Logistics Coordinator

Mississauga

This Export Logistics Coordinator is responsible for managing export documentation, order processing, and logistics coordination within a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. The role ensures accurate invoicing, shipment tracking, and timely communication with internal teams and external partners while maintaining compliance with cross-border import/export requirements between Canada and the United States.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for all export documents and certificates for foreign country export shipments
  • Prepare all sample documents for sales via FedEx
  • Order entry, and invoicing
  • Communicate with Quality Assurance for meat certificates, and samples
  • Responsible for verification of pricing on all orders and report to controller for any discrepancies
  • Customer Service for all Customer Complaint
  • Communication with all USA Accounts on orders being shipped out
  • Communication with Shipping Dept. on orders, regarding logistics
  • Tracking on orders shipped out
  • Tracking of Fed Ex
  • Field calls and direct in right direction, overall customer service responsibility
  • Alternate EDI
  • Other sales related duties as assigned

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Must have hands-on experience with U.S. export shipping documentation,
  • Must have experience with food products
  • Must have experience with cross-border logistics or import/export documentation
  • NetSuite experience an asset
  • Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Experience with inventory management processes (cycle counting, reconciliation)
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments
  • Previous experience in food manufacturing or similar regulated environment
  • Knowledge of food safety standards (e.g., HACCP, GMP)
