A Third Party Logistics provider located in Burlington is seeking a Logistics Coordinator. This is a collaborative team environment, all responsible for the overall customer and carrier experience.
Responsibilities
- Negotiate freight rates with carriers for domestic and cross-border TL and LTL
- Source carriers
- Cultivate strong relationships with key customers
- Ensure all emails are answered promptly.
- After hours' rotation to assist with resolving issues
- Grow and maintain existing and new carrier or customer relationships
- Understand and utilize RMIS to its full potential
- Perform work with a sense of urgency and attention to detail
- Effective communication skills a must
- Transition spot quote customers into dedicated customers
- Follow up with customers for additional lanes
Experience and skills
- 2+ years of logistics coordination experience in logistics, cross-border and interstate logistics
- Knowledge of Load link, RMIS, UFOS, PC miler, Trucker Tool
- Preferred education in DCS/DEC
