About the Company

Our client is a small but highly capable Calgary-based builder that consistently manages 4–5 live projects across the city. With a reputation for quality and a supportive, stable environment, this company is the perfect fit for a Superintendent who wants to take ownership of their work and showcase landmark projects that will stand out across Calgary's skyline.

The Role

As a Superintendent, you will be the driving force behind site operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest standard. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll manage trades, coordinate logistics, and solve challenges on the ground — all while being supported by a close-knit and stable team that values your contribution.

This is more than just “running a site.” It's a chance to build projects that shape the city and be part of a company where your work won't go unnoticed.

Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day site operations on high- and mid-rise projects.

  • Supervise and coordinate subcontractors, trades, and site staff.

  • Manage schedules, manpower, and equipment to ensure workflow and deadlines are met.

  • Enforce and champion site safety and compliance.

  • Work closely with Project Managers to track progress, resolve issues, and provide updates.

  • Ensure quality control and adherence to project specifications.

  • Represent the company on-site, maintaining strong relationships with clients, consultants, and trades.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in a Superintendent role on high- or mid-rise projects.

  • Strong technical knowledge of concrete, building systems, and construction methods.

  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage crews.

  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.

  • Solid understanding of construction safety standards and procedures.

  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders while keeping projects on track.

Why Join?

  • Be part of a small, stable team that supports and values its people.

  • Consistent pipeline of 4–5 live projects across Calgary at any given time.

  • Work on projects you'll be proud to point out across the city skyline.

  • Competitive compensation and benefits in a supportive environment.

  • A chance to take ownership and build a visible legacy in Calgary.
