As a Customer Service Representative / Data Analyst, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day customer inquiries while also collecting, analyzing, and reporting on key data metrics. This hybrid role is ideal for someone who is both people-focused and data-driven—comfortable solving customer issues while uncovering insights to support business decisions.
Customer Service (50%)
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat in a timely and professional manner.
- Resolve product or service problems by clarifying the customer's complaint, determining the cause, and explaining the best solution.
- Document customer interactions in the CRM system.
- Identify recurring issues and escalate to the appropriate teams.
- Assist with onboarding new customers and providing product or service guidance.
- Collect, clean, and analyze customer service and operational data
- Build dashboards and reports to track KPIs and service performance trends.
- Use data to identify process improvement opportunities and present operational metrics
- Collaborate with other departments (Sales, Operations, Product) to share findings and support business initiatives.
- Support ad hoc analysis requests from leadership.
2+ years of experience in a customer service or support role.
1+ years of experience with data analysis or reporting responsibilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets (pivot tables, lookups, charts).
Experience with CRM tools (e.g., Zendesk, Salesforce, Intercom).
Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal.
High attention to detail and organizational skills.
Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
Familiarity with SQL or basic database querying.
Experience working in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
Post-secondary education in Business, Data Analytics, or a related field.
