Salary: $95,000 - $115,000

With a diverse portfolio and a collaborative team culture, they are seeking a Senior Corporate Accountant to join their finance team and support the companys continued growth.

About the Role:
As the Senior Corporate Accountant, you will be responsible for supporting financial reporting, analysis, and compliance for the firms corporate operations. You will work closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure timely, accurate financial statements in accordance with ASPE and IFRS, while playing a key role in process improvements and internal controls.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with ASPE and IFRS
  • Lead general ledger reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, and variance analysis
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and internal reporting packages for senior leadership
  • Coordinate with external auditors during interim and year-end audits
  • Maintain and improve internal controls and accounting procedures
  • Work closely with tax and treasury teams to ensure compliance and alignment with corporate strategies
  • Provide financial insight to support decision-making for key stakeholders
  • Assist in the implementation and optimization of accounting systems and processes (SAP ERP experience is a strong asset)

Qualifications:

  • CPA designation is required (CA, CGA, CMA)
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in the asset management or financial services industry
  • Strong working knowledge of ASPE and IFRS reporting standards
  • Experience with SAP or Oracle ERP systems is an asset
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities and deadlines
