About the Role:
As the Project Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in the financial management of multiple real estate development and construction projects. Reporting to the Controller, you will be responsible for full-cycle accounting, project cost tracking, and liaising with both internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage full-cycle accounting duties for assigned development and construction projects.
- Track project costs, budgets, and forecasts to ensure alignment with financial goals.
- Review and process invoices, change orders, and draw requests.
- Prepare monthly financial reports, including project performance and variance analysis.
- Collaborate with project managers, operations, and finance teams.
- Maintain and update financial records using Yardi software.
- Support year-end audits and ensure compliance with internal controls.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of full-cycle accounting experience within the real estate development or constructionsectors.
- Experience as a Project Accountant or Property Accountant will be considered.
- Proficiency in Yardi is required.
- Strong analytical skills and understanding of project-based financial reporting.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
