Junior Buyer

Mississauga, Ontario, Canada

Reporting to the Procurement Manager, the Junior Buyer is responsible for the procurement of goods, high volume/low dollar catalogue items for various projects and business units.

• Create and Issue non‑complex Procurement packages, including Best Commercial, low level QA program requirements, Catalogue and Credit Card purchasing.
• Create and Issue Change Orders.
• Interface with Project Team and Requesters.
• Expediting of non‑complex goods and services.
• Requires Procurement Mentor by Senior Buyers/Leads.

Work Environment:

• Hybrid Work Environment.

• Graduate degree.
• 3–5 years buying or related experience.
• Entry level procurement or equivalent experience (3–5 years).
• Minimum Buyer experience and knowledge.
• Procurement or Project coordination an asset.
