Key Responsibilities:

We are currently looking for a dynamic and driven leader to manage the operation of our short-term accommodations facilities in Churchill Falls, NL. The Accommodations Supervisor is responsible for the operation of a temporary worker camp, and for providing front-line supervision & leadership to a group Cooks and General Help staff.

  • Planning, organizing, and directing staff housing activities.
  • Direct supervision of up to 15-20 unionized employees.
  • Oversee food and product ordering, deliveries, and inventory control.
  • Recruit, train, and lead employees while promoting teamwork and accountability.
  • Administer collective agreements, policies, and site regulations.
  • Maintain adequate supplies, equipment, and kitchenware inventory.
  • Demonstrate professionalism, sound judgment, and a commitment to continuous improvement and customer service.

What We're Looking For:

  • A proactive and people-oriented leader with a passion for service excellence.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proven supervisory experience and the ability to lead a diverse team effectively.
  • A solid understanding of accommodation and food service operations, focused on quality and efficiency.
  • A commitment to safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement in all aspects of work.

­What You'll Need:­

  • A 2-3 year post-secondary diploma in Business Administration.
  • Minimum of five (5) years' experience in Business Administration, accommodations management, or hospitality.
  • Minimum of three (3) years' supervisory experience, preferably in a unionized environment.
  • Experience in food service operations or hospitality management is an asset.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite, JD Edwards).
  • Proven ability to lead a diverse team and handle multiple priorities with initiative and integrity.
