The Adjudicator NU analyzes and investigatesall Time Loss and No Time Loss Claims and accepts or denies the claim based onthe evidence submitted and provides entitlement, adjudication andadministration of injured workers claims. The Adjudicator NU may also berequired to provide coverage during staff absences for the Claims ProcessingSupervisor.
Hereare a few ways you will make a difference:
- Determines eligibility/ineligibility forentitlement on all time loss and no time loss claims and on-going eligibilityfor benefits and the appropriateness of services provided by healthprofessionals to ensure the most appropriate course of action is taken toreturn the worker to meaningful employment.
- Provides Actingand Supervisory coverage when the Claims Processing Supervisor is away forunexpected or extended periods of time
- Administration
Whatyou bring to the role:
- A degree in a related field and two (2) years casemanagement experience, including day-to-day interaction with people to assesssituations and/or establish a course of action.

Equivalencies: May be considered based ona one-year of directly related experience equivalent to one year of educationor one year of education for one year of experience.
