Delivery Driver (G License)

Job Title: G-Class Delivery Driver

Location: Burlington, Ontario - Upper Middle Road & Appleby Line

Shifts: Days, 6:00am start time, Monday - Saturday (Saturday shifts are mandatory)

• TOTAL 5 SHIFTS PER WEEK (Sunday + 1 other weekday OFF per week)
• AVERAGE 40 HOURS PER WEEK

Rate of Pay: $21.00/hour to start

Job Type: Temporary to Permanent Hire

We are hiring a G Class - Delivery Driver for our client in Burlington. This company distributes produce to customers across the GTA and Niagara regions. Qualified candidates will have a valid G Class Driver's License with a clean driver's abstract, be available to work on Saturdays, and have experience in a similar customer service-oriented delivery driving role. This position is a long-term to permanent hire position with a reputable company.

Responsibilities Include:

• Deliver produce orders to customer locations across the GTHA on schedule.
• Load and unload produce crates by hand from a 20-ft box truck.
• Accurately complete and submit all required delivery paperwork and driver logs.
• Report any delivery challenges or customer concerns to management promptly.
• Maintain a high level of customer service during all deliveries.
• Operate the company's 20-ft box truck safely and keep it clean and well-maintained
• Safely lift and handle items weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Carry out additional general duties as assigned.

Candidate Qualifications:

• Valid G Class Driver's License
• Driver's Abstract (dated within past 30 days)
• Willing to provide a Criminal Record Search
• 2-3 years recent, verifiable experience working in a commercial delivery driving role
• Able to lift up to 50lbs regularly
• Excellent customer service skills and strong attention to detail
• Punctual and reliable
