Job Title: Project Manager (Restoration & Reconstruction)
Location: Burlington, ON
Total Compensation: $70,000-$80,000 / year to start + commission per project completed/paid; access to company vehicle; health and dental benefits, paid vacation time off.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm - Project manager must be available for alternating scheduled on-call evenings and weekends.
We are hiring a talented Project Manager to join a busy restoration / emergency response company in Burlington. The ideal candidate will have long-term experience in a Project Manager role with experience completing estimates in Xactimate.
Job Duties:
- Oversee full cycle restoration process from emergency phase through to completion
- Communicate with and provide customer service to home & business owners, insurance adjusters and sub-contractors
- Ensure the preparation of accurate estimates using Xactimate and Symbility
- Create & execute project plans with appropriate software and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements
- Build existing client relationships and generate new leads with adjusters and property managers
- Manage project budget/estimates
- Ensure timely and accurate invoicing and monitor receivables for each project
- Analyze project profitability, revenue, margins, bill rates and utilization
- Improving technical knowledge, skills and personal performance through courses as directed
- Consistent taking and recording of all psychometric readings on all job sites
- Completion of all documentation requirements as per company Standards of Procedures
- Be available to respond to 24-hour emergency restoration and mitigation calls and alternating scheduled on-call evenings and weekends
- Other duties as required
Candidate Requirements:
- Long-term experience in the restoration or construction industry in a Project Management position
- Experience using Xactimate software required
- IICRC Certifications are an asset
- Possesses valid G-level Driver's License
- Excellent communication skills both oral and written
- Adept use of MS Office including Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Strong customer service, organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills
- Able to lift 50lbs
