Job Title: AZ Shunt & Delivery Driver

Terminal Location: Burlington ON. Sutton Dr. and Clay Ave.

Shift: Must be flexible

• Saturday: 6am to 2:30pm
• Sunday: 6am to 4pm
• Monday to Wednesday: 2:30pm-11:30pm

Pay: $24.00-$27.00/hour

Job Type: Temporary to permanent hire

This role is responsible for performing yard shunting operations, local deliveries, trailer movements, and ensuring freight is transported safely and efficiently. Successful candidates will have 3+ years of AZ shunting and delivery experience, have a clean driver’s abstract, and have great communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate company vehicle and deliver to customer locations (city driving).
• Perform shunt driving between 2 client locations.
• Offload deliveries using automated tailgate, dolly, or power walkie and lift 50lbs.
• Move trailers between docks, yards, staging areas, and designated locations.
• Maintain accurate delivery records, logbooks, inspection reports, and shipping documentation.
• Ability to work in a variety of weather, temperature, and road conditions.
• Provide strong customer service during deliveries.
• Other general duties as assigned.

Candidate Requirements:

• 3+ years of verifiable AZ driving experience required.
• Willing to provide a Driver's Abstract and CVOR dated within the past 30 days.
• Willing to provide a Criminal Record Search.
• Able to safely lift up to 50lbs.
• Strong geographic knowledge of GTA and surrounding area is an asset.
• Willing to complete client training program.
