Job Title: Contents Supervisor (Restoration)

Location: Burlington, Ontario

Shift: 8:00am - 4:00pm Monday - Friday

Salary: $27.00 - 30.00 / hour (based on experience)

Job Type: Permanent Hire

We are hiring a Contents Supervisor for an emergency response and restoration company in Burlington. In the role you will be responsible for overseeing the handling, documentation, cleaning, packing, storage, and return of clients' personal belongings during the restoration process. This role ensures that all contents are treated with care, accurately tracked, and restored to pre-loss condition whenever possible. This is a permanent opportunity in a growing organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee the packing, inventory management, and transportation of client contents from damaged residential, commercial, and condominium properties.
  • Maintain accurate item documentation, inventory records, and labeling for tracking and insurance purposes using Encircle software.
  • Supervise the sorting, packing, storage, and handling of contents in accordance with company policies and industry standards.
  • Ensure worksites and documentation processes remain organized, efficient, and compliant with company expectations.
  • Collaborate closely with restoration technicians, project managers, and clients throughout all stages of the contents restoration process.
  • Provide leadership, training, and support to Contents Labourers, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and quality standards.
  • Perform quality assurance inspections to verify that contents are properly restored, handled, and returned in satisfactory condition.
  • Coordinate and oversee the organized return, delivery, and unpacking of contents following project completion.
  • Carry out additional duties as required.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in contents handling within the restoration industry.
  • Proven leadership and organizational abilities, with the confidence to direct, mentor, and manage a team effectively.
  • Valid G-Class Driver's License with a clean Driver's Abstract.
  • Proficiency with Encircle software is required.
  • Strong attention to detail, particularly in inventory management, tracking, and documentation.
  • IICRC certifications or related industry credentials are considered an asset.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive, valuable, or personal belongings with professionalism, discretion, and excellent customer service skills.
