Job Title: General Labour

Closest Intersection: Mainway & Walker's Line, Burlington

Shifts: Monday to Thursday, 7:30am-4:45pm & Friday, 7:30am-3:45pm

Rate of Pay: $20.00-$23.00/hour to start (depending on experience)

Job Type: Temporary to Permanent hire

We are hiring general labourers for a welding and custom fabrication shop in Burlington. Ideal candidates will have experience in general labour roles, using hand and power tools, operating machinery, and a strong willingness to learn. Our client is willing to train and is looking for reliable candidates with a positive attitude! This is an immediate opening that has opportunity for growth and learning.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Cut, form, bend, and punch metal as instructed using tools and machinery
• Sort, pack and package materials and products
• Inspect machine parts and materials for defects
• Assist with general cleaning duties of the shop
• Other general duties as required and assigned

Candidate Requirements:

• Experience working in light industrial environments as an asset
• Experience using hand tools or other machinery is required
• Forklift experience is an asset
• Ability to comfortably lift between 10lb-40lb throughout the workday
• Strong willingness to learn and problem-solve
• Exhibit punctuality, reliability, a positive attitude, and the ability to work well with others
