Forklift Operator

Job Title: Forklift Operator (Counterbalance)
Rate of Pay: $20.00/hour
Available Shift: 5:00am - 1:30pm, Monday - Friday
Location: Burlington, ON (Appleby Line and Mainway)
Start Date: ASAP

We are seeking experienced Counterbalance Forklift Operators to join our client's warehouse facility in Burlington. This is an immediate opportunity for skilled operators with strong communication skills who thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate a propane-powered counterbalance forklift safely throughout the warehouse
• Load, unload, and transport products in an efficient manner
• Receive incoming goods and update inventory using an RF scanner and warehouse management system
• Communicate with drivers and team members to coordinate shipments
• Frequently lift items weighing up to 50 lbs
• Pick and pack orders to meet daily shipping targets
• Carry out additional general warehouse tasks as required

Requirements:

• Valid in-house or third-party Counterbalance forklift license required
• 1-2 years of recent experience as a Counterbalance forklift operator or material handler
• Experience in a fast-paced warehouse or loading dock environment required
• Familiarity with RF scanners and inventory systems preferred
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
• Willingness to provide a Criminal Record Search
