General Labour (Assembly)

Job Title: General Labour

Location: Burlington, Ontario - Burloak Dr. and Harvester Rd.

Shifts: Monday - Friday 7:30am - 5:00pm

Rate of Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 /hour (depending on experience)

Job Type: Temporary to Permanent Hire

We are looking for experienced General Labourers for our client in Burlington that serves the North American truck and trailer sector. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, strong communication skills, and adept use of hand and power tools. You must be available to complete our registration process immediately.

Responsibilities Include:

• Assembly of parts using hand and power tools
• Use of a tape measure to accurately cut, assemble, or inspect products
• Review and follow blueprints and drawings for assembly
• Pack orders for shipping, load and unload, and move products between yard and warehouse
• Complete general labour tasks and lift up to 50lbs
• Work outdoors (up to 30% of the shift) to assemble products, move items, or load trucks
• Other duties as assigned

Candidate Requirements:

• 1-2 years of experience in similar general labour role required
• Experience using a tape measure and hand and power tools required
• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors
• Strong attention to detail and strong communication skills
• Safely able to lift, push, and pull up to 50lbs independently
