Job Description

What is the opportunity?

The Senior Manager, Finance ERP Standardization plays a vital role in the enterprise ERP transformation program, ensuring Finance processes, data structures, and reporting requirements are embedded into global design architecture. Part of the Digital Ecosystem team, within the CFO organization, this role owns the Finance perspective on global design decisions and drives standardization of Finance practices across business units, regions, and entities.

What will you do?

ERP Onboarding & Finance Readiness

  • Organizes Finance onboarding activities, ensuring Finance teams validate and are prepared to operate within the new system environment.

  • Owns the Finance readiness workstream: process walkthroughs, user acceptance inputs, data migration sign-off, and cutover planning.

  • Ensure Finance control requirements and core period-end processes are fully represented in ERP design and configuration.

  • Identify gaps between current-state Finance operating models and ERP target-state design, driving resolution through Finance process owners and global design leads.

Global Design — Finance Standardization

  • Represent Finance in Global Design governance, ensuring structural and reporting design decisions support both statutory and management reporting obligations.

  • Champion standardization of Finance processes, policies, and data definitions across legal entities and geographies.

  • Assess and challenge design decisions that introduce reporting ambiguity or control risk, escalating unresolved issues to CFO leadership.

  • Maintain Finance-owned design documentation, including process standards and configuration rationale.

Finance, Governance & Controls

  • Embed Finance governance requirements — including controls, regulatory reporting integrity, and audit traceability — directly into ERP design rather than as post-implementation overlays.

  • Partner with CFO groups to validate that global design supports downstream obligations without manual workarounds.

  • Establish Finance sign-off protocols for design decisions carrying financial reporting, regulatory, or control implications.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Serve as the primary Finance liaison to IT delivery teams, system integrators within the global design effort.

  • Engage controllership, Finance SMEs, and business unit finance leads to build alignment on standardization decisions and manage change implications.

  • Support CFO and senior Finance leadership with executive communications, steering committee materials, and milestone reporting.

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

  • 5+ years of progressive Finance experience, including direct involvement in ERP implementation or finance transformation in a large, complex organization.

  • Deep knowledge of core Finance domains, including financial close, consolidations, and regulatory reporting.

  • Demonstrated ability to represent Finance requirements in cross-functional design forums and uphold standardization and control principles.

  • Strong understanding of Finance process design and the downstream reporting implications of ERP configuration decisions.

  • Exposure to data architecture concepts, metadata, lineage, and data quality management

Nice-to-have

  • Familiarity with modern ERP platforms from a Finance functional design perspective.

  • Exposure to IFRS and US GAAP reporting requirements, regulatory Finance obligations, or financial controls frameworks.

  • Experience with global design methodologies and multi-entity ERP governance structures.

  • Prior experience in financial services or a similarly regulated industry.
