Placement Description:
We are seeking a motivated student to support key projects related to experiential learning, student engagement, and recruitment across New Brunswick. Working with Future NB / Wabanaki and Study NB, the Project Assistant will help strengthen institutional support for experiential learning, contribute to student council discussions, and provide insights to improve student retention and engagement. The student will support the Study NB website by reviewing public institution programs to ensure offerings are accurate, complete, and up to date, and may also contribute a student voice to the monthly newsletter, including assisting with editing. The student will participate in planning meetings with post-secondary institutions, support provincial recruitment efforts, and help with career fairs, conferences, and marketing/data tasks. This role brings a valuable student voice to provincial programming while offering hands-on experience across several high-impact initiatives. This role offers an opportunity for skills development with career-focused trainings, self-development workshops, and personalized mentorship.
Need to have:

  • Language requirement: English and French (Bilingual)
  • Willing and able to travel within NB
  • Currently enrolled in any post-secondary program

Nice to have: Experience with event planning, familiar with marketing and contact creation, knowledge of New Brunswick's post-secondary landscape, strong communication skills, interest in student retention and provincial development.
