What is the opportunity?
We are seeking a Senior Manager to join our dynamic Business Analytics and Insights team supporting the Commercial Business. Our team provides end to end innovative analytics solutions to enable optimal capacity planning and strategic decision-making within the businesses we support. We are on the journey of modernizing our data infrastructure, enhancing insight-delivery mechanisms, and broadening our mandate; this presents opportunity to build in-depth knowledge of new roles and teams, create new capacity models, data assets, analytics and explore avenues to support our stakeholders with event based personalized insights.
What will you do?
Play a critical role in helping drive the Business' strategic priorities by providing capacity and portfolio insights to Commercial Banking executives and leaders
Partner on strategic business projects to inform design and execution with data led recommendations.
Work side-by-side with Role Strategy partners and collaborate in a complex matrix organization to influence strategies that enable our people to win and lead in the market.
Develop and maintain always-on capacity insights through deep understanding of the role continuum and use of statistical and analytical techniques, scenario-based analytics, regressive & predictive models.
Support the end-to-end annual FTE planning cycle for the Commercial business utilizing a solid data foundation through capacity modelling and forecasting, overlaid with your business knowledge and awareness of micro and macro-economic factors.
Counsel on ongoing workforce investments, workforce placement and client portfolio decision making.
What do you need to succeed?
Must Have:
10+ years of experience, including 3+ years in analytical roles (Business Analytics, Consulting, Technology), with working knowledge of Commercial Banking environments
Hands-on experience with capacity planning principles and methodologies.
Ability to proactively generate insights using business acumen to inform strategy and address emerging challenges, deep curiosity to research and confidence to challenge the status quo to drive innovation.
Skilled in packaging data insights into clear, concise presentations to highlight key findings and recommendations for executives and diverse stakeholders and proven ability to collaborate effectively with senior leaders and navigate matrixed, cross-functional teams.
Proficient in technical tools: SQL, Dataiku, Python, advanced Excel (Pivot Tables, macros), and PowerPoint & experienced with data visualization platforms like Tableau and Power BI.
Familiar with cloud data platforms (AWS, Snowflake) and open to adopting new technologies and methodologies.
