Class 1 Driver

Job Title: Class 1 Driver

Location: Bedford, Nova Scotia

Schedule: Monday to Friday

Rate of Pay: $27/hour

Position Overview: We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Class 1 Driver to join a professional and collaborative team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong work ethic, a team-first attitude, and a desire to grow within a stable organization.

Responsibilities :

• Perform yard shunting, including moving and spotting trailers at designated dock doors
• Safely maneuver trailers within the yard and facility grounds
• Hook, unhook, and position trailers as required for operations
• Load and unload products when necessary
• Follow all safety procedures and site-specific regulations

Requirements :

• Valid Class 1 Driver's License
• Minimum two (2) years of verifiable Class 1 driving experience
• Prior Shunting experience is an asset
• Current Driver Abstract (issued within the past 30 days)
• Strong reliability, dependability, and teamwork skills
