JOB TYPE: Permanent full-time
SCHEDULE: Day, 8 and 12-hour shifts. Work schedule may be changed to meet operational needs.
LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS: French essential and spoken English

JOB SUMMARY :
Under the supervision of the Hemodialysis Manager at CHUGLD, the incumbent will contribute to the success of the service primarily as: a) a coordinator responsible for improving operational and administrative processes within the hemodialysis department; b) a leader in identifying innovative solutions and approaches, as well as in managing change within the hemodialysis department.
The selected candidate will collaborate with the manager in overseeing the service, including the organization, coordination, planning, and evaluation of activities based on client needs. They will supervise the employees assigned to the department, as well as the physical and material resources. The candidate ensures the quality of care and patient safety. They also maintain effective communication among staff, clients, the multidisciplinary team, and the community. They facilitate change, support decision?making, and promote autonomy among staff and clients. The candidate performs any other related duties as required by the service.
REQUIREMENTS :
- Bachelor's degree in Health Sciences and/or Business Administration;
- Master's degree in a related field is considered an asset;
- PMI certification is an asset;
- Lean or Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification is an asset;
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in process improvement and/or project management, change management, or quality improvement;
- Experience in the healthcare sector is an asset;
- Excellent proficiency with the Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project) and with Visio;
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and coaching skills;
- Sound judgment supported by strong listening, analytical, synthesis, strategic thinking, and problem?solving abilities;
- Demonstrated transformational leadership;
- Ability to mobilize, engage, and act as a change agent;
- Dynamism and creative thinking in the performance of duties;
- Ability to travel within the Vitalité Health Network territory and throughout the province;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
- Physical ability to perform the assigned work;
- Good work history (performance and attendance);
- Adherence to professional ethical principles, the Network's management philosophy, and organizational values;
