What is the opportunity?
In the role of Executive Assistant, you will provide comprehensive administrative support to multiple teams and leaders, ensuring seamless coordination and communication across various departments. RBC Global Asset Management (RBC GAM) is a North American-based asset manager with global scope and industry leading investment management capabilities. RBC GAM manages approximately C$700 billion in assets worldwide on behalf of institutional and individual investors through mutual funds, pooled funds, hedge funds, segregated accounts and specialty investment strategies. What will you do?
- Provide administrative support to investment team members.
- Ensure executives are prepared and supported to meet deadlines and commitments by identifying opportunities to add value and improve efficiency.
- Independently schedule/coordinate regular team meetings, monitor deadlines, compile reports and email participants.
- Print out/photocopy/bind materials for meetings as requested and prepare meeting minutes if required.
- Travel arrangements (both domestic and international) and prepare detailed itineraries.
- Complete expense reports and reconcile Visa statements on a timely basis.
- Special project work or administrative tasks as required.
- Responsible for maintaining and updating team vacation calendar and absentee records.
- Assist with answering HR questions.
- Provide coverage/support to other admins as well as reception/office staff.
What do you need to succeed?
Must Have
- Minimum 5 years of experience in executive administration or executive assistant roles supporting senior-level leaders.
- Strong interpersonal and diplomacy skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels of the organization.
- Proven ability to prioritize competing demands in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
- Highly adaptable, with the ability to navigate shifting priorities and work efficiently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent interpersonal & communication skills (including written).
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office including Outlook.
- Proactive, well organized, able to deal with multiple tasks and changing priorities.
- Able to work independently, self-motivated, eager and able to learn.
- High level of professionalism and discretion.

Compensation for this position (including salary and discretionary/variable payments) will be determined by factors, including but not limited to candidate's experience, skills, registration status, performance, individual goals, market conditions, and business needs.
Pay Range
The expected pay range for this position is:
$55,000.00 - $90,000.00The pay range provided is for the primary work location referenced in the Additional Job Details section of this job posting. Pay ranges may differ based on location.
