Concrete General Labourer

Job Title: Concrete General Labourer
Location: Kingston, ON

Shift/Hours: 7AM to 3:30PM- Monday- Friday
Hourly Wage: $20.00/ hr

This role will involve mak ing precast concrete products from start to finish. Responsibilities will include preparing molds, pouring and finishing concrete, and following safety rules and technical drawings. This role is ideal for someone with strong communication, a mechanical aptitude, is comfortable using hand/power tools, and interpreting technical drawings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Concrete m anufacturing & f inishing .
• Prepare molds and forms for concrete pours .
• Set up reinforcement, inserts, and hardware as shown in drawings .
• Pour, remove, patch, and finish concrete products to meet standards .
• Label products with job details, logos, and customer info .
• Check quality before and after pours and fill out paperwork .
• Safely operate tools and equipment, including overhead cranes and forklifts (if certified) .
• Follow all company and industry safety standards and procedures .

Qualifications:

• Strong communication skills
• Must have reliable transportation- This is NOT on the City of Kingston bus route
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and use measuring tools
• Mechanical aptitude and comfort using hand/power tools
• Physically able to lift 50 lbs and work in demanding environments
• Certification in crane or forklift operation is an asset
• Personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times

Work Conditions:

• Physically demanding, hands-on work in a dusty, noisy, and fast-paced plant setting
• Exposure to hot conditions in the summer and cold areas in winter
• Regular standing, bending, kneeling, climbing, and lifting required throughout the day
