Temporary Worker

Title: Automotive Detailer
Pay: $19 - $21/hr
Shifts: Monday- Friday
Hours: 8am-5pm
Location: Ottawa, ON - South East

We're actively hiring an experienced Automotive Detailer on behalf of a well-established automotive dealership that has been serving the Ottawa-Gatineau community for 50+ years. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting dealership operations by detailing new and pre-owned vehicles, ensuring they are cleaned, polished, and prepared to a high standard. You will be working alongside an experienced team in a professional, customer-focused environment that takes pride in delivering quality vehicles and service.

Responsibilities:

• Detail the interior and exterior of new and pre-owned vehicles to ensure they are presented in top condition
• Work efficiently while upholding excellent detailing standards
• Apply cleaning, polishing, and buffing products correctly on all vehicle surfaces as needed
• Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and maintain accurate records of their condition
• Safely move and park vehicles in designated areas on the lot or for delivery
• Assist with inventory management, supplies, and keeping the workspace organized and safe

Requirements:

• Capable of performing the physical tasks required, including walking, crouching, bending, and standing for long periods
• Previous experience in automotive detailing, both interior and exterior
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Comfortable operating both manual and automatic transmission vehicles
• Able to work independently with strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication, customer service, and teamwork skills
• Criminal Record Check will be required as part of the Onboarding process

Working environment/safety:

• Working in a humid and damp environment
• Regular use of cleaning chemicals
• Continuous repetitive hand movement
